Going to check out the Call of Duty Next event? - September 15th

I guess Activision is going to be doing a little show showcasing the future of Call of Duty. The event is simply called Call of Duty Next and will be taking place September 15th at 1pm est. It will be live on Twitch, YouTube, Facebook and even Twitter. There they will reveal the future of Call of Duty.

These days I don't much care for COD, at least not like I used to when the game was at its best. These days most of my friends don't even play, so I can't be bothered to get into it anymore.

But, if this showcase teases something big, I may check it out and see if my friends would be interested in playing again as well.

More Assassin Creed Games on the way - Assassin's Creed: 2022 Showcase

The Assassin's Creed: 2022 Showcase aired recently and a lot was showcased. It looks like we're getting a ton of new AC games, one being called Mirage, and a few others with codenames Jade, Red, Hexe, and Infinity. You can see the showcase below. I also linked right to the trailers for each game so you don't have to watch the full show. They also have the chapters in the description of the main video.

And this is why we need to support mostly Black-owned restaurants from now on. There's no telling what kind of tampered, contaminated, and bad food that The Pub in Pennsauken, New Jersey is purposefully feeding the Black customers. You can't put anything at these oppressive, filthy, toilet paper aliens.

This is The Pub:

WHY THEY DON'T DO IT?

There is a reason why Democrats don't want to do anything specifically for black people. There is a reason why they don't fight for reparations.
If you ask any of the vote blue no matter who crowd they will say it is because of the Republicans or that they will lose if they do that etc. or whatever other excuse they can come up with.

Truth is there are two reason. One borders on that. It's that like the Republicans the Democrats are courting the votes of racists. The Democrats know they won't get the flat out KKK, Neo Nazi, open white supremacist racists. They are hoping to get the vote of the casual racists. The closeted racist who has those thoughts and beliefs and may even say things at the dinner table at home but don't say these things publicly for fear of loss of a job or loss of business.

That's reason number 1.

The second reason is a bit more cynical. In order for white supremacy to survive there has to be a group that they keep oppressed. Black people are an easy target to do this to since white people hate us just by our mere existence. Police brutality happens to us more often because more black people are more often poor. Racist incidents happen to us more often because black are more often poor. Our water is tainted because we more often live in areas that are financially disadvantaged.

You can get rid of qualified immunity if you please but if the person doesn't even have money to hire an attorney does it really matter. Suing a police officer themself is different than suing the department or the city. Attorneys will pick up a case suing the city pro-bono because they know if they win there will be a large settlement and they will get a percentage of that. However the police officer doesn't have millions to pay out. So even if you win the case for millions against the officer they won't have the money to pay it. The attorney isn't going to take this on pro-bono because there isn't anything in it for them in the way of money.

The thing that would fix our situation more than anything is if the majority of us are lifted out of poverty and brought into the middle class or higher. If the thought becomes that black people are well off now and have resources to sue, or that black person may be someone important or related to someone important then police are going to think twice about their actions.

Young black people will no longer be targets of police because we will be able to get education and jobs and won't have to turn to selling drugs and crime for money. People don't do these things because they are bad people. They do it because they have no other choices. They are simply trying to survive. Given the choice most people will take a honest good paying job over crime.

All that said I'll get back to my point. Democrats don't want reparations passed in any form because it will work. Cash payments can be invested to start businesses and that will create wealth for black people and bring us higher on the spectrum financially. Cash payments could be used to pay tuition and get good paying jobs which will lead to higher home ownership and passing on of wealth. Heck even if the money is just used to buy life insurance the money from those policies gets passed on to the kids.

Even if the reparations aren't cash payments and come as free college for black people and we're the only ones that get the benefit then it will bring us higher financially. If the reparations are in the form of assistance with purchases of home then our home ownership rate increases and those homes are passed on to out kids. They now don't have to worry about a mortgage and can save their money and build wealth or use that money to start a business instead.

Anything that will benefit us specifically is going to create a class of black people within a generation that is wealthy and well off. That is why reparations in any form is rejected because it will work. It has a lot less to do with the politics of it and more to do with keeping us oppressed!

What's the latest cologne you bought?

I like the clean aquatic scents the most, but I want to try different types of cologne. Recently I grabbed a few that I really like. some are not that expensive but surprisingly are very good. I like colognes to have good projection, not overwhelming just that nice hint of small when you walk past someone. the Afnan brand is pretty much a clone house, the Afnan 9 PM is a very good clone of Ultra Male by Jean Paul Gaultier, some people even prefer the clone to the original.

what are you wearing lately?

Valve might make a "Next Gen" Steam Deck that has game streaming options

Does anyone here own the current Steam Deck that's available? I have wanted to get myself one for quite a while now, but I can't see myself spending that much money right now. And maybe it's a good idea I wait, because it looks like Valve may be making a new Steam Deck that's even better. It's also being said that they may change the look and design of the new one, which I'm for.

This new steam deck might even be able to stream video games. That's kinda cool. But I can only imagine how much more pricey they will end up being, unless they eat the costs and price it low like they did with the current Steam Deck.

Modding your video game consoles, anyone do it?

Does anyone here like to mod their video game consoles? Old and new? I have thought of modding some old consoles, like a PS2, maybe an Xbox, and maybe even a newer console like an Xbox one or 360 even. Mostly for emulation and other fun stuff. But for the newer consoles, maybe install a different OS and mess around with it in some other ways.

What kind of mods have you done for your video game consoles?

The Code Hot Take: Next Gen started too Early

The Code Hot Take
Next Gen started too Early

In the world of technology, it's always about building toward a future that is bigger, brighter, and better. And it's the same for video games as you have Microsoft and Sony being these huge competitors in the videogame space. Meanwhile, Nintendo doing well with the Nintendo Switch, not only having it as a home console but also as a portable one as well. And one wonders what Microsoft and Sony do to counteract this. Well, most people would think, hey, let's see what Sony and Microsoft are going to do for their next generation consoles and the hype train began. Then both consoles were released in late 2020 during a global pandemic. Some think that it was the wrong time to release them and I am one of the people who agree with that statement here is my list of reasons why Sony and Microsoft Started the next generation of video game consoles too early.

Number one) It was released during a global pandemic.
This in my opinion is the main reason why these consoles have not reached their full potential as of yet. As the coronavirus pandemic swept throughout the entire planet, the majority of people had more pressing issues than buying a brand-new video game console at your local Best Buy. Most people during that time are more worried and concerned about buying food, water, and other supplies than considering buying a brand-new video game console. Now I know these consoles release later in the year 2020 but my point still stands that if these consoles release a year or two years later, I believe more people would have been more comfortable going into stores buying these counsels, as at the end of the day, these next Gen consoles and the majority of video games for that matter, are luxury's and during a pandemic where most people didn't have jobs and were worrying about their future most people are not thinking about buying or playing video games.

Number two) Sony and Microsoft Vs Online Bots.
These online bots called AIO resale bots have been around for the past couple of years, helping the black market get the first take on sneakers, graphic cards, TVs and now these next Gen consoles and they basically have a monopoly on just getting these consoles first and then selling these consoles more than they are worth. And it's a more viable option in some cases than actually having a job according to this Verge article. There are people using this type of software to buy sneakers and TVs and flipping them to sustainable profits for themselves. And, when you have a global pandemic more people are going to be forced to buy these consoles online and if you don't have this type of software there’s little to no chance of you getting the PS5 or Xbox series X. But to be fair, nowadays it's a lot easier to get an Xbox Series X. But it is still hard for people to get a PS5 it seems the only way to get a PS5 is to be extremely lucky or to use one of those online bots to get them for yourself.

Number 3) Global Computer Chip Shortage
In fairness, all of these issues that I’m bringing up tie into the global pandemic, which at the end of the day is why pushing forward and releasing these next-gen consoles was a lousy idea for Sony and Microsoft. As this pandemic forced people to stay at home going to an office for work or going out and meeting up with friends and such was not a good thing to do at the time. So a lot of people used technology to talk to people, do remote work, and so on. But the problem with that is that they needed these computer chips and a lot of these computer chips are made in China and in Taiwan. And the demand is way too much so even Nintendo had to cut down on creating brand new Nintendo switches. As these computer chips are important in the design of making. These new next Gen consoles as well, so these companies had to cut down on making these consoles, and since there is a limited supply. It makes it harder for people to get these consoles, and so the cycle continues on and on and on. And I believe that if. Sony and Microsoft just waited a little longer. They would have reaped the rewards of having the next Gen experience for all gamers instead of. A few. Instead of having your video games be on these new next Gen consoles, they have to be shared on the previous generations on the PS4 and the Xbox One.

But those are my thoughts. What are yours? I can't wait to see them in the comment section below. Thanks for reading and watching.

Pro Wrestling Discussion (WWE, AEW, NJPW, and more)

I saw in my last AEW topic that people were discussing starting a main topic for pro wrestling discussion, and I'm all for that. So I figured since no one else started one yet, I'd go ahead and start it here. Feel free to discuss anything relating to pro wrestling in here. From mainstream stuff like WWE & AEW, to NJPW, Evolve, NWA and more. I don't know them all, but I think I got some of the big names covered.

Anyway, I wanted to originally make a topic on the crazy stuff going down in AEW at the moment. Especially with CM Punk, The Young Bucks, and a slew of others involved.

I, like many others, were thinking it was a work, as in it was all for show, but I guess that may not be the case.

This article details who was suspended:

The ones suspended are; Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, Pat Buck, Michael Nakazawa, Brandon Cutler and Christopher Daniels. With a recent confirmation that Ace Steel was suspended as well.

The original story goes on to say that CM Punk got into a fist fight with the young bucks, and Ace Steel threw a chair hitting I think Matt Jackson in the eye. It all stemmed from CM Punk's media scrum Q&A that happened after the recent All Out PPV. You can see that below:

There's also a report that CM Punk met with Tony Khan about how he can leave the company. Considering he's the champ right now, he will have to drop it to someone.
